What TrailWeights Is

TrailWeights is a gear comparison and pack-building platform for outdoor enthusiasts. We provide verified gear weights, creator video reviews, and community-driven data to help you make informed gear decisions.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (gear weights, pack lists, reviews). By submitting content you grant TrailWeights a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. Community-submitted gear weights may be aggregated and displayed publicly.

Affiliate Links

TrailWeights may earn commissions through affiliate links to gear retailers. Affiliate relationships do not influence our gear data, rankings, or creator video selection. All buy links are clearly identified.

Prohibited Use

Do not scrape or bulk-download data from TrailWeights. Do not submit false gear weights or spam content. Do not attempt to circumvent access controls or abuse API endpoints.

Third-Party Content

Video reviews displayed on product pages are sourced from YouTube via the YouTube Data API and remain the property of their respective creators. TrailWeights does not host, modify, or claim ownership of third-party video content.

YouTube Terms of Service

TrailWeights uses YouTube API Services to surface creator gear reviews, channel information, and video metadata throughout the platform. By using any TrailWeights feature that displays YouTube videos, metadata, or creator channel information, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of YouTube content is additionally governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
